Ramesh Boonratana
Summary
Ramesh ‘Zimbo’ Boonratana obtained his Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Anthropology from Panjab University and a PhD in Biology from Mahidol University. He worked as a research zoologist with the Wildlife Conservation Society for ten years until 1996. He was a full-time consultant to biodiversity conservation and ecosystems protection projects throughout much of Asia for another ten years. He is currently an Associate Professor at the Mahidol University International College in Thailand. He also serves as the Asian Primates Journal’s Editor-in-Chief and a Regional Vice-Chair of the IUCN SSC Primate Specialist Group.
