The University would like to accelerate the transition to open access publishing. We will therefore cover the costs of Membership Fees and APCs for PeerJ for eligible publications (giving Nottingham University researchers the ability to publish open access articles at PeerJ). For more information on eligibility and applying for costs see: https://www.nottingham.ac.uk/library/research/open-access/requesting-oa-funding/funding.aspx.

When your article is accepted for publication in PeerJ, Nottingham University affiliated authors should return to this page to submit your claim, which generates a membership request for the University of Nottingham to review, and complete the email verification.

Authors will also need to submit an OA funding application form, the Author’s Accepted Manuscript and the Production Tasks email from PeerJ to openaccess@nottingham.ac.uk.

*If you are taking the membership route, all authors of an accepted article must have a paid membership. https://peerj.com/pricing/#apc-membership-pricing
